SIlicon Valley accelerator relocates HQ to South Florida

“Relocating NewME to Miami was a natural choice,” Benton said. “I’m excited to continue my work with NewME in our new, inclusive home.”

South Florida’s startup community is set to get a dose of Silicon Valley with the relocation of NewME, an accelerator focused on kick starting minority-led companies through mentorship, coaching and community convenings.

NewME will kick off its first local cohort June 5 at its new home base in the Wynwood Arts District, at 38 N.W. 24th St. in Miami. Through the program, black South Florida-based entrepreneurs and their businesses will gain access to NewME’s professional investor network and other resources.
